Miss Howell has also held teaching positions as part of Waco ISD's Music Tutoring Program and Midway High School's Music Enrichment Program in addition to managing her own private studio.

Currently based in Northwest Houston, TX, Miss Howell offers lessons emphasizing sustainable and healthy vocal technique, music literacy and music theory, ear training and sight reading, classical and contemporary vocal literature, and performance techniques. A 4-year Texas All-State Choir member, Miss Howell is no stranger to the rigorous audition process and has mentored many students in their pursuits. STUDENT TESTIMONIALS

Lessons with Miss Howell were always something I looked forward to in my week! She is engaging and dynamic. Miss Howell makes a point to hone in on her students interests and strengths by introducing them to interesting pieces that reflect their talents, while also targeting weaker areas through specialized warm ups. Throughout my time with Miss Howell I watched my technique improve and my confidence grow!
— Caroline Wills | Midway High School Student, 2014-2015
Rebekah’s instruction came at the very beginning of my collegiate vocal training. In a time before I had a faculty member as a coach, Rebekah came highly recommended to me. Her encouraging, energetic personality combined with her vast pedagogical knowledge made her a strong and trustworthy teacher, especially in a time when I did not feel so confident in my abilities. Every time I saw her perform, even years later, I was always proud to say, “That’s my teacher!” I was fortunate to have Rebekah as a coach for the time that I did.
— Megan Montgomery | Private Voice Student, Waco, TX 2012
I took lessons from Rebekah and I had really bad stage fright and didn’t know how to show the emotions from the song. But through helping me understand the meaning she helped me really connect to the song and learn how to express feelings through music.
— Ruth Lemons | Private Studio Student, Houston, TX 2010
